Process Development Lab

When you call with a specific laser application, the first thing we do is discuss in detail what you are attempting to achieve through laser processing. Drawing on 25 years of materials processing experience, we can quickly determine if our lasers and your application are a match. If we feel it has potential, we will request that you submit materials for processing in our applications lab.

Our lab is equipped with our standard 180 watt laser; an X-Y Table and a vast array of fixtures and lens assortments along with our moving target hardware. We can simulate most production situations and provide accurate processing data. We have full machine shop capability to fabricate custom fixtures as needed.

When your application has been completed, we supply you with processed samples. Each sample is labeled and delivered with a written application report specifying each processing parameter for a given sample and comments on its results. The end of the report contains a written summary as to what went well, where issues cropped up and how they might be handled. We also deliver a brief video report that shows your materials being processed and running dialog. This information provides your project manager with real data, real answers and visual aids to present to management in order to evaluate if laser processing is the solution for you.
